Uploading a receipt never confirms a payment by itself. Every submission is reviewed by our payments team before it is marked confirmed, and a rejection always carries a reason you can read in your dashboard.
Confirming a payment and accepting your goods are two separate steps. A confirmed payment never accepts goods on your behalf.
Courier waybills, dispatch receipts, shipping receipts and delivery slips are stored privately and are only downloadable by the customer who owns the package and our authorised staff.
For Pay on Delivery outside Lagos, we ask for a Facebook, Instagram or TikTok profile link (and, where requested, your NIN) only to verify that you are a genuine customer before goods are sent. These details and our review notes are private: only authorised MyLagosAddress staff handling verification or fulfilment can see them. We never ask for your social-media password or login codes.
Every status change is recorded with the person who made it, the previous and new status, the time, and any review or rejection note.
Prohibited items include weapons, narcotics, live animals, hazardous chemicals and counterfeit goods. Declared values must be accurate for protection to apply.
